My mom spent a few of her teenage years living on the island of Samoa while my grandpa was mission president there. This week they're having a reunion in Utah and so my mom flew out. She and Becca decided to spend the weekend up in Rexburg before the actual reunion. Bless them for coming because Ben and I really needed a break after two months of chaos!
My Whale relatives came up to Rexburg to check out BYU-Idaho as a potential college for my cousin Shannon. So we were able to visit them and eat some ice cream (we Whales lllooooooovveee ice cream!) It awesome to see them again and for anyone who is considering coming to BYU-Idaho you should do it! It's the best place ever!!!! I don't think I've ever had such an amazing experience (besides ones with family) than being a part of this school!
We were able to go on a lunch date on Saturday. We hit some AWESOME sales in Idaho Falls and then went out to lunch. It was so nice to be baby-less for a couple of hours. After we got back from our date we went to visit our friend Miss Amanda, who just had a baby. Ben grew up in Rexburg and Amanda is his best friend's little sister making her Ben's little sister (which is funny to think about because she's a year older than me.......) so we were able to visit her and little Noah (pictured above. Noah's the tan one obviously. Poor Sky got his paleness from me. Sorry Amanda. I totally forgot to take my camera on Saturday and so I stole this from Facebook....) If you remember a year ago Ben made me a changing table when I had Lily. Well when we found out Amanda was expecting a baby I suggested that Ben make one for her as well and here it is! It looks awesome! (Sorry, I also stole these from facebook...)

Daddy/Bud time
His eyes are cracked a little in this pic but he was seriously unconcious as I held him dangling.... crazy boy.
After our visit my mom, Becca, and I were able to watch the General Relief Society Broadcast together, which was awesome! They left after church and when we came home both of the babies fell asleep at the same time, so Ben and I just looked at each other and ran to bed to take naps. Miracle of miracles I was able to sleep for 3 hours! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!?!?! Anyway then we spent the evening with some friends. It was a pretty amazing weekend. And we really needed it.Lily has always made me kiss her hands and fingers. She would always just hold up a finger while I would give her a bottle and I would just kiss it the whole time she was drinking. As you see from this movie she still hasn't outgrown it (which we don't mind at all!) In fact, this morning she made me kiss her peanut butter covered hands. At least peanut butter tastes good! Here's a movie of her trying it with Becca but getting a little impatient.... if you listen closely you can hear the broadcast in the background. I promise we were listening! It was just too funny when Lily started messing around with Becca!
